Austin Powder is a market leader in explosives in Argentina, suppliers of the mining industry, quarries, cement plants, and limekilns, as well as the oil industry for seismic prospecting. In Rafaela's and Bella Italia's manufacturing plants, in Santa Fe province, the company delivers emulsion products, ANFO, non-electric detonators, primary explosives, boosters, and detonating cords. They also have operating bases in Tandil and Olavarría, Buenos Aires, and in projects Cerro Vanguardia, Anglogold Ashanti in Santa Cruz, as well as Chinchillas, Puna Operations in Jujuy.

In El Galpón, located in Salta province, they built a production complex of nitrate and ammonium. This production complex consists of four manufacturing plants, one for ammoniac production, another one for nitric acid production, a third one for ammonium nitrate production -which results from a mix of the previously mentioned products-, and a fourth one for general services. These manufacturing plants produce 75.000 tons of nitrate and ammonium per year in order to satisfy the needs of the local market as well as exports.

Exports from Argentina to Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, and the U.S.
